Did you know that nearly 75% of women in the Senate are former girl scouts? No?
That’s probably because they don’t wear their sashes to work. But what if they did?

Many badass women–athletes and actresses, entertainers and entrepreneurs–got their start as girl scouts. So on March 12th, Girl Scouts’ birthday, we’re reminding people that the road to success starts with a sash.
Girl Scouts Day also happens to coincide with the Academy Awards. So we got the Best Actress winner to wear one on the red carpet…

And, for next year, Girl Scout’s will launch a new page on their website so alumni can recreate their old uniform and join in on future March 12th celebrations.
